Brain Dead

I had an all day, half the night session writing the plan of correction at the other building yesterday. The administrator from my building joined us, which is awesome, because she and I have been writing plans of correction together for 6 years. This monster was 88 pages long. The building got more than 20 federal tags, a slew of state "N" tags, and around 10 life safety "K" tags.

We finished all but two of the whole bunch yesterday. I'm stiff and sore from hunching over a laptop all day, and my brain is somewhat checked out. I'm due back there at 11am today to finish this beast up and get it sent to corporate for approval, so it can be sent to the state.

All I can say is I'm damn glad that I'm not the one who actually has to implement this plan of correction, and fix this horribly broken building. It is literally a nightmare, and I don't want to have anything to do with it. The new DON there will have her hands full. I really don't see them clearing these citations on the first re-survey considering date certain is next week, so they'll end up on a admissions moratorium and a 6 month survey cycle, but maybe that's what they need. It's just a mess.

I'll be glad to go back to my home building.
