You can play here.
1. What is your favorite 4th of July memory? (If you aren't in the U.S., then use your own national holiday.)
As a kid we used to spend almost every weekend camping at Bluff Creek. We camped with several other families and a group of single guys, all people from my dad's work, mostly military. They brought big round tents from the base, and we had a huge bonfire. And of course, on the 4th, lots of fireworks. And beer. Lots of beer. We kids ran around in a pack, swam, played, and generally had a good time without much parental supervision. It was a good time.
2. Do you consider yourself patriotic?
Yes.
3. Do you like fireworks?
I enjoy them, but not enough to go see them. I can't stand all the traffic that is involved in getting to and from the beach, so I stay away.
4. What are your plans for this weekend?
Not much different than the usual weekend. Nap, hang out, do a little house cleaning, hang out some more and just be lazy.
5. Are you optimistic about the future?
I'm starting to be. The new job has helped.
6. Do you think everyone should serve in the military?
I don't think a mandatory two years in the service would be a bad thing.
7. Would you support a constitutional ban on flag burning?
Making it a constitutional ban is going a bit far, I think.
8. What end of the political spectrum are you?
I consider myself somewhere slightly to the left of center.
9. Where do you get your news?
The internet--Google News in particular. I don't like watching the news on TV.

Camping on the 4th--sounds like it was full of fun memories.
Hope you have a great weekend!
Great answers. I enjoyed them all. Happy 4th :)
I totally agree with you on #3. I have to go to a wedding on the beach tonight and I went and parked my car this morning and am getting a ride down there tonight.
I love Google News!
We went over to a friend's house and her family shot off fireworks. I was nice but afterward you have to wash your hair to get the smoke out.
