Monday Randomness

The bills are all paid, and there's enough left over for hubby's books this semester. Life is good.

Instead of spending a bunch of cash buying me a desk, we moved the kitchen table (which we never used for eating) over to the wall, and bought some nifty sea grass organizer type baskets from Target. I love the way it looks, and now I have a place to keep all the random paperwork that accumulates around here. I have a place to sit down and pay bills that is my very own. Hubby picked out the baskets and he did good!

The cats think the new baskets were picked out just for them to sleep in. No surprise there.

Work is good. Very good. I'm working on an analysis of our return to hospitals, trying to pinpoint where the recent jump in the numbers came from. It's interesting work, at least to me, LOL. Boring shit, probably, to the rest of the world. I like analyzing things. It works with my inherent need to analyze everything very nicely.

Hubby's new office desk comes tomorrow. He'll be thrilled to finally get the last of the boxes unpacked and get his desk set up in plenty of time for school to start. The new desk, unlike the old desk, should be easy to take apart and move when we need to.

At some point, hubby is going to be done with his pre-reqs, and will finally start attending UCF in Orlando. We'll have to move closer. I dread this with all my being. I hate moving.

I wish I could put a non-random post together that was more than just "I walked the dog, and went to work". My writer's block is still with me. Hence, you get this train of thought bullshit that really isn't much more than what is going on in my head at the time. I'm sure I'll get over it, but the waiting is annoying. I keep opening wordpad, and staring at the blank screen trying to will something to come, and nothing comes. It's annoying.

I will be farther away from work, yes, but he won't have to drive 2 hours, either. Give and take, yanno.
